Surrounded by other classic Californian Bungalows in an exclusive Fairfield neighbourhood, the set out was to create a first-class modern lifestyle without compromising the integrity of the facade or the authentic charm of the street.

Set on a corner allotment complete with uniform dimensions, minimal gradient and north-facing backyard, we had the perfect space in which to weave our architectural and construction magic.

The only major hurdle we had to overcome was the fact that our clients would be living in the home for the entire duration of the project. To that end, the construction timeline was give special attention to ensure an expedient and delay-free process.

A total transformation, the end result is a bold fusion of classic and contemporary, Art Deco charm and on-trend style featuring a stunning bamboo and stone kitchen, designer bathroom with frameless shower and freestanding bath, Tasmanian Oak flooring and Blackbutt decking, stylish Russian Birch internal cladding and Alucabond External cladding, as well as a mix of commercial-grade aluminium windows and stylish Aneeta double-hung windows.
