California Dreaming

Renovation One took a previously untouched original1920′s California Bungalow and transformed it which a unique design and construct. An underfloor double garage was dug under the existing floor structure through the use of bored piers and concrete spray. Steel beams were inserted under the floor prior to the excavation enabling Renovation One to keep the existing façade but also support the new upper floor above and extension to the rear. A full height feature window from ground to first floor frames the stairwell enabling an abundance of light to enter the middle of the house. The upper floor was built with a balcony back over the front façade creating a series of stacked gables that gives this house a truly impressive and unique look. Project features.

  • Underpinned garage construction.
  • Caesar Stone bench tops.
  • Vinyl wrap cabinets.
