Bedeck

Sometimes the greatest challenges are in the smallest spaces! Creating this single-level garage with studio above at the rear of an existing single-front heritage terrace was certainly no easy feat. Tight dimensions, limited access and no sewer point were just a few of the logistics that needed to be overcome. But the end result was well and truly worth it! An inspired design by architect Terry Nott includes a range of contrasting yet complementary materials and finishes employed throughout the building including standard seam external cladding, Russian Birch ceiling panels and showpiece powder-coated screening with coloured glass infills.

Other project features include:

  • Screening from the Tin Man.
  • Epoxy flooring; Lumic.
  • Commercial double-glazed windows, Designer.
  • New Iron Bark decking with integrated LED lighting.
  • Remote-controlled side roller door to ROW.
  • Installation of maceration pit
